1. Our approach

The website uses no advertising cookies, no social media pixels and no cross-site tracking. It uses Google Analytics on all pages. In the United Kingdom, the European Union or wider European Economic Area, and Switzerland, analytics cookies are set only if you choose Accept on the cookie banner; elsewhere they are set by default and you can decline at any time. Everything else listed below is needed for the website to work and is kept on your own device.

2. Strictly necessary storage (always on)

• nk_analytics_consent (local storage): remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so the banner does not ask again. Kept until you clear this site's data.
• nikkup_web_session (session storage, Nikkup Plus checkout only): keeps you signed in while the checkout tab is open. Deleted when you close the tab or sign out.
• nikkup_web_device (local storage, checkout only): a random identifier for this browser, sent to our API with checkout requests so your signed-in session is tied to this device. It contains no personal information.
• nikkup_web_lang (local storage, checkout only): the language you chose for the checkout.

If the website is delivered through our content delivery network (Cloudflare), it may set a short-lived security cookie (such as __cf_bm) to tell people and automated attacks apart. It is not used for tracking or advertising.

3. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)

Every page of the website loads Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) to count visits and see which pages are useful. It uses Google Consent Mode, so whether analytics cookies are set depends on where you are and on your choice. IP addresses are anonymised, and advertising features (Google signals, ad personalisation and advertising storage) are always off.

• United Kingdom, European Union / European Economic Area and Switzerland: analytics cookies are set only after you choose Accept. Until then, or if you choose Decline, Google Analytics receives cookieless measurements (such as that a page was viewed) with no identifier stored on your device.
• Everywhere else: analytics cookies are set by default. You can choose Decline on the banner, or use the buttons below at any time; from then on no analytics cookies are set and those already set on this site are removed.

The analytics cookies are:

• _ga: distinguishes visitors. Expires after 2 years.
• _ga_<container id>: keeps the state of a visit. Expires after 2 years.

Your location for this purpose is estimated by Google from your IP address; it is not stored by us.

4. Changing your choice

Use the buttons below to decline analytics, or to remove your saved choice and the analytics cookies on this site so that the banner asks again. You can also clear this site's cookies and data in your browser settings at any time, or block cookies there altogether (the checkout needs session and local storage to work).
